Sarah
Sarah joined the Aspetuck team in September 2024. She holds an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Science Technology from a State University in Delhi, New York, and is a proud graduate of the Wamogo Agriscience Program. From an early age, Sarah knew that veterinary medicine was her calling—a way to advocate for animals and provide them with the love and care they deserve.
Her hands-on experience began in high school, working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic while also assisting technicians with their duties. She further honed her skills by volunteering at Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities, where she helped care for young dogs training to become service animals. These experiences deepened her passion for animal care and veterinary medicine.
During her final year of college, Sarah completed a six-week preceptorship at Aspetuck, applying her academic knowledge in a real-world setting. The experience solidified her desire to be part of the team, and she is honored to continue her journey at Aspetuck Animal Hospital.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys journaling, running, spending time with family, and playing frisbee with her black lab, Maggie.
